Camp High 5, GIO’s premier riverside camp stands on the banks of the Alaknanda at Jayalgarh (near Devprayag). Far from the bustle of popular touristy destinations yet conveniently close to a rail head and airport, Camp High 5 is ideally located for the urbanite who loves the natural experience. It is connected to a National highway as well, making it easily accessible from New Delhi. This is the perfect getaway for adventure seekers and nature lovers alike. If the Alakhnanda offers a unique rafting experience, the surrounding hills are ideal for activities like rock climbing and rappelling. Short, scenic hikes and beautifully isolated glades full of exotic birds and butterflies add to the magic. The tents are spacious, each with its own independent toilets and washrooms with running water offering you all the creature comforts of home amidst the rugged terrain making for an unforgettable outdoor experience.

CAMP FACILITIES

Accommodation: The camp provides accommodation in Large Luxury Swiss cottage tents ((12’ x 12’). Each tent has two cots with comfortable bedding and quilts. The tents have attached bathrooms with running water. The toilets are dry pit with western seats and are clean and convenient.

Food: The camp has a full-fledged kitchen that provides you with hot multi-cuisine meals apart from all the cups of tea / coffee you might want.
