Room-on-the-Roof is set atop a series of step farms
overlooking the Viraatkhai valley, 25 kms from Chakrata.
Standing in splendid isolation at an altitude of
1900 m, the camp offers breathtaking views of snow-capped
Himalayan peak on a clear day and hold special promise
for genuine nature lovers. Far from the bustle of
urban life, all you are likely to hear are sweet
bird songs and the rush of mountain winds sweeping
across the valley.
A 45 minute drive from the camp brings one to the
upper stretches of the Yamuna, the favoured river
